The location of the hotel is superb, with the KL landmarks such as Masjid Jamek, Merdeka Square and Sultan Abdul Samad Building within walking distance from the property. At night this ever-busy neighbourhood transforms into a buzzing night market, with gleeful locals, street vendors, crowded shops and food stalls. Some of the food items available here are a must-try, especially the wonderful fruit shakes and juices that are quite a hit among the locals. The rooms are decent, albeit small in size. The amenities are quite basic and the beds are comfortable. However, since the building is an old property, the signs of ageing are evident. Our bathroom door had no locks, which is a bit awkward for me and needs upgrade.
